Educational apps for the ipad
This page includes a few of my favourite apps for primary as well as links to app lists. It was inspired by Mark Anderson (@ICTEvangelist) who has written a blog post for secondary, which is well worth a look whatever age you teach! Sir Charlie Stinky SocksLovely interactive book with brilliant sound effects. Click on the picture to preview on youtube.
Get them talking!Try mouthoff, Talking Tom (a cat) or Talking Ben (a dog) for some talking fun. Be aware that there is a windy dog in talking Tom.

Singing Fingers lets you fingerpaint with sound. Just touch the screen while you make a sound, and colorful paint appears. Touch the paint to play back the sound again. If you need convincing, watch this amazing youtube clip.
Comic LifeOne of the easiest comic book creators available (ipad and pc). If you want to see an example, look on our class blog at what Jenson in year 2 created.
